School/program provides equitable opportunities for students to engage in high quality STEM learning

Field trips, family events, and school demonstrations provide our students with experiences to engage in STEM learning. Teachers additionally support our students’ learning in class through differentiated instruction, critical thinking, and real-world connections. They approach individual students’ needs using varied data points and formative assessments to focus maximum growth and build confidence. As a school, we provide multiple after-school activities that infuse many STEM concepts, including coding club, Lego club, iPlay (games & chess), and Art.
Leadership teams and administration monitor successful implementation and student engagement in these programs. We are always trying to find new and innovative ways in promoting clubs that peek our students’ interest and increase their critical thinking skills.
